Katie Hanna

About the Author

Katie Hanna is a writer in her spare time and a dreamer all the time. She has a Master’s degree in history from the University of Memphis, and puts it to work writing historical fiction and historical fantasy. Katie likes strong women in her adventure stories and Oreos in her ice cream.

More About Katie

Katie loves tales of adventure in wide-open spaces or sinister dark alleys.  She loves unconventional fantasy stories that take a fresh look at old legends and well-known tropes.  She loves unconventional romance, too, though she has a soft spot for overprotective fellas and lovable idiots.  Especially cowboys.  For some reason, she really has a thing for cowboys.

Katie considers herself Maggie Stiefvater’s number one fan, a role she does not take lightly.  After Stiefvater, her biggest writing inspirations are Louis L’Amour and Sir Terry Pratchett.
